A Tip
By Wayne Luallen
Visalia, California
In the September/October 1991 issue of American Angler magazine was a tip by Jean Huber of Spokane, Washington. In cased you missed it, I'd like to share Jean's tip with you.
At your local stationary store can be found a product called "Gatherette," a fingertip moistener. Among other wondrous things, such as dipropylene glycol, it contains a fair quantity of glycerin, along with a bit of lanolin. Bank tellers and others use it to give them a grip on dry things, such as paper.
You will find it useful for dubbing, and wrapping floss. If you are a sweaty-palmed tier, you may not need this product; if you have dry palms, give it a try and let me know what you think
